You should select "High Fidelity" in order to keep the black and gray details from your pencil drawings. To see your Image Trace options, click on the small "Image Trace Panel" next to the word "View" on the top menu. That's why it's good to scan at high resolution and then adjust the resolution in Photoshop: it will increase the dimension.ĥ) In Adobe Illustrator, select your image and click the "Image Trace" button in the menu. It should be very big in Illustrator, and the biggest it will be, the more details you will keep in your drawings.
